Holiday Scams - Rental Property Scams at Christmas

Are you looking to move into a new apartment or rental home? Take care, because holiday scamming has extended to rental properties. This trend is heightened by economic recession, when cash-strapped credit-poor consumers may believe they are renting a bargain only to learn that there was no apartment or house in the first place.

In tough times, people can grasp at straws to create an income. Others simply take advantage of honest people with cleverly designed frauds. Visit the link below to learn about several scams that involve rental property and actually steal cash and/or personal identification for use in future fraud:

Have You Heard of the School of Bank Robbers?

San Francisco Second Chance School on Treasure Island

Treasure Island in America was built by the US Army Corps of Engineers beside the Golden Gate Bridge in the late 1930s to host a World's Fair to rival that of New York in 1939. This second Work's Fair was the Golden Gate International Exposition to celebrate what has become the overiding symbol of San Francisco. Just 30 years later, The Gate became a legendary symbol of the United Federation of Planets (UFP) and Star Fleet Academy in Gene Roddenberry's longtime favorite creation Star Trek and all ts generations after The Original Series, including the 2009 Reboot.

Treasure Island is magnificent. One a Naval Air Base, it has been turned over to private enterprise. over 6,000 residences will be completed with construction is fulfilled, and Special Events venues already abound on the island. Although auto traffic is easy to and from the island, and bus service runs 24/7, a ferry system is also planned.

On this island, a special charter school for those that need a second chance is flourishing. The John Muir Charter School is attended by youth ages 16 - 24 with any number of sistuations in their lives, in a legitimate school that is effectively operated by a former bank robber. Administration and students are all taking the second chance afforded to them and putting it to tremendously good use.
